Only then could I start to explore the paths of what might be called spirit.

And I have a feeling I’m not alone in this.

When the weather gets crisp like this, and the sun

When the weather gets crisp like this, and the sun doesn’t rise until 7.30am, I have to get outside before I start my day and be in the fresh air - before returning home to be an office chair shrimp for the rest of the day. 🦐

This little patch of London green space next to the local running track is tiny; but every single time I walk here, I’m reminded of what a miracle it is to be among our woodland kin: robin, oak and soil. Space opens up within me and all the painful contractions of my mind and body loosen just a little. During lockdown, it saved me.
